We chose the name Turtle Island Travel Nurse to reflect the values at the heart of how we work. In many Indigenous stories, Turtle Island is a name for North America -a name rooted in a creation story about care, cooperation, and the strength of community.

While we know not all Indigenous Peoples share this story, we carry deep respect for its teachings and the way it connects people to the land and to each other.
